Holy Trinity Friendship Group

The Holy Trinity Friendship Group was formed following the dissolution of the HTU UCW on December 31, 2016. The AOTS had also ceased operating. This new group is open to ALL men and women of Holy Trinity United Church. 

The location and dates of meetings can be noted on the Monthly Calendar of Events.
Our Vision:
Is to be a fun, caring, hospitable group open to all; who enjoy laughter and camaraderie; and reaching out to newcomers from a foundation of faith.
  
Our Mission is to:
.  Care spiritually for one another
.  Offer educational events
.  Raise some financial resources for ministry and mission
.  Offer support through friendship
.  Serve the church through our hospitality ministry

Camp McDougall:

-The HT Friendship Group has chosen to support the United Church camp - Camp McDougall - as one of its projects in 2019.  "There is no place like Camp for campers and staff alike to live life to the fullest, to experience the beauty and wonder of Creation, and to build meaningful relationships."

​Camp McDougall Project:
  • The Friendship Group led the Sunday service April 28. The theme was Camp Sunday to highlight the groups support of Camp McDougall for the youth of the community. See Camp Day photos posted.

  • Help the Friendship Group support the purchase of t-shirts for young Camp McDougall campers. Make a $5 donation to any member of the Friendship Group or place your donation in a marked envelope in the offering plate.

  • The camp's Wish List items can be donated, be purchased by the camp with your cash donations or donations of Canadian Tire money. The Canadian Tire money can be left on the Friendship Group board in the Fellowship Hall.

Events

Souper Luncheons
The HT Friendship Group hosts monthly Souper Luncheons on the third Wednesday of the month from September to May, from 11:30-1 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door for a choice of soups, sandwiches, coffee or tea and desserts!
